Redmi Note 14 Pro Series to launch today: All specs leaked

Redmi is all set to introduce its latest smartphone– Redmi Note 14 Pro series, today. For now, the launch is exclusive to the Chinese market, but it has been speculated that the smartphones will soon be released in the global market, including in India, as well. The latest Redmi Note 14 Pro series will include two devices: Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro+. The official teasers have claimed that both the smartphones will feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection on the display. What more? Let’s delve deeper.
The Redmi 14 Pro series is set to be released in China today. Before the launch, a tipster on Weibo shared key specifications of the Pro variant. Previously, the Redmi 14 Pro+ specs were also leaked. Let’s go in one by one.
Redmi Note 14 Pro
Leaked specs suggest the Redmi Note 14 Pro will inherit the 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display from the Redmi Note 13 Pro, with improved brightness reaching 2500 nits, up from 1800 nits. The Pro variant will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, a newly launched chipset for mid-tier smartphones. The Redmi Note 13 Pro was launched with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro is expected to be available in multiple storage configurations, featuring 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of RAM, paired with 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of internal storage.
The upcoming Redmi smartphone is tipped to come with a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro or depth sensor. To recall, the Note 13 Pro launched with a 200-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The Redmi Note 14 Pro will likely have a 16-megapixel sensor on the front, similar to the predecessor.
According to reports, the Redmi Note 14 Pro will boast a larger 5,500mAh battery, replacing its predecessor’s 5,100mAh cell, while retaining the same 67W wired fast charging capability.
Redmi Note 14 Pro+
According to the official images, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ features a sleek design. The back panel hosts three camera lenses, housed on a square island. The phone features a curved display with a punch hole cutout and a sizeable ellipse-shaped camera island with a glass element that protects the three camera lenses and LED flash. The ring outside the camera island is to feature a texturised pattern.
The smartphone is confirmed to come in Mirror Porcelain White colour option. But so far, no other colour has been revealed. But the Redmi Note 14 Pro will come in Phantom Blue and Twilight Purple options.
The Redmi smartphone is expected to pack an in-screen fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster, dual speakers, and much more.
