    Description

PLEASE READ ENTIRE AD FOR ITEM AND SHIPPING DETAILS!!
This is a metal/porcelain railroad crossing sign from the 1800s. It is from the upper Peninsula of Michigan; salvage from abandoned sections of the Lake Superior & Ishpeming railroad. These are super rare and seldom found; when they do come up for sale they go for big $$$. One sold on ebay in the past for 0; another sold at a recent major railroadiana auction for over 00. If you check ebay listings you will see this sign is in better condition thank any previous or current signs of this version. Excellent sign in fine condition as you can see, for a 100+ year old item! No bends or folds in the metal. Holes only where bolts were used to mount the sign to the post. Sign is 24" in diameter.
