    Two warrants for Promotion to 5th & 3rd Corporal Andrew Scott of Company "E," 2nd Nebraska Cavalry.
    Enlisted in 11-09-1862 from Pawnee City, Nebr. Mustered out 12-23-1863.  The Regiment organized for nine months in 1863 as part of Gen. Alfred Sully's Northwestern Expedition on Sept. 3rd, The scouts reported 600 Indian Lodges with 1,000 Warriors.  Fought the Sioux Indians at the bloody battle of White Stone Hill, Minnesota.  One signed by Col. R.W. Furnas.  Second one signed by Major George Armstrong.
