    This 1754 Mo is one of a series of half reals struck 1747-1757,
    during the reign of Ferdinand VI.
    It is distinguished from later issues
    of half reals by having similar crowns atop the pillars on the date side.
    Fineness: .917 Fine Silver, Weight: 1.69 Grams, Mintage: Unknown, Population: Graded VF 25 (2).
    The Mexico City mint, opened in 1538, is still in operation.
