Description
Amazing Salvador Dali silk scarf, designed for attendees of the International Silk Convention in 1957. Delicate silk features a surrealistic image of woman's head that has been wrapped in threads by a group of orange, gold, and grey silk moths, enclosed in a pale yellow border. Signed "Dali" below image.Approximately 31" x 32".
Good condition, tiny spot of fraying to fabric at chin, and a few pinholes in one corner (see closeup photos.) This piece still has plenty of wears left in it, but we would ultimately recommend preserving it with a framing.
