    Vintage 1960s VERA NEUMANN SCARF ~ Expressionistic Pineapples ~ 100% SILK
    Signed with Ladybug ~ 31" x 30"
    Here's an early VERA scarf -- based on the size of the ladybug, signature and © symbol, I believe it is from the late 1950s to early 1960s. This 'field of pineapples' design with the fruit gradually growing smaller in the distance, is one of her most iconic, printed on semi-sheer, pure silk. Bright brush strokes of yellow, orange, olive green and brown on white is typical of her exuberant palette. Unusually, this scarf is framed on just three sides with orange. The hand-rolled and stitched hem is brown. The
    original tag has been removed; otherwise this
    scarf is in Excellent Vintage Condition. Please message me if you need more information or pics.
