Hermes scarf Les Truites (The Trout) by Micheline Masson 1953 On Sale!!!

Description

This is a fairly rare Hermes scarf from 1953 by Micheline Masson.  It is in lovely condition with trout you can almost grab a hold of.  The colors are bright and beautiful and if you are a fond of fresh water fish either fishing for them or frying them up...this is as good as it gets.  The scarf lists the major trout fishing streams of the world along the edges.
You will notice that the Connecticut (River) is spelled incorrectly and that is 'correct' on this early
scarf.
I think these are Brook trout and Brown trout.
You have indications of water with some white lines (almost blanc mat technique..the printing of white on white),  over the base color of off-white of the scarf.  And there are very delicate 'flies', plus the rod and reel.  If Spring isn't inspiration enough for you to get out there into nature, this scarf will clinch the deal!
Condition:   The hems still have a bit of puff (see photos) There are no stains.  There is a very fine pulled thread that is hard to detect.  And there are three tiny, tiny defects in the silk smaller than a pin prick.  But overall it is in good clean bright condition and ready to wear and enjoy.
