B&O bronze/brass herald plate 1920-1930’s Locomotive Badge VERY RARE! 🚂🔥🚂. Condition is "Used".
This had been painted by somebody else so I did my best getting the old paint off and then sandblasted it I was going to have it cleaned up and polished and clearcoat it but I figured I would look that up to the buyer based on whether they just wanted to leave it alone or finish it this is an actual Herald plate off of a piano Locomotive as you know they’re extremely rare and very hard to come by it has the four mounting holes around it from where it was mounted to the locomotive other than that there is no other damage except for cosmetic looks there are a few spots of the original dark blue paint left on it from the original lead-based paint please look at the pictures as they are part of the description if you have any questions I will do my best to answer them thanks for looking. It is about 16 pounds and it’s just under 17 inches around
