Description
80 New and Empty Frames including the feet.Shipping Included. Shipped from Florida.
These frames are called Suspension Display Frames or 3D Floating Frames. They are made out of an ABS plastic material for the frame that holds two layers of a PET membrane film. The frames are hinged so that you can put the item that you want to display inside. The membrane stretches to hold the item in place so that it looks like it's suspended or floating.
The PET membrane has high elasticity and high tensile strength. That means that it will stretch a lot and it won't tear easily.
It works best with thicker items. Very thin items, like paper, may stay in place but thin and heavy items won't. In many cases gravity will pull coins to the bottom of the frame. Coins don't have enough for the film to hold onto. Coins may work if they fill most of the space in the frame. Thick pointy items like shells usually work fine.
The membrane film may reflect light. If and/or how it may glare depends on the room's light source, the angle the frame is to the light and how the film is stretched.
These 50mm (2") square black frames are great to hold and display gemstones, small jewelry pieces, marbles and many other things.
The 50mm frame is approximately 2" square (outside) and 1.5" (inside). The listed frame size is usually actually 1 to 2mm less. Allow for the possibility of a slight variance.
You may be able to reuse the frames in some cases. The membrane film will shrink to some degree depending on what was originally displayed inside.
These frames look good displayed flat in a tray or in countertop display case. They may also be used with feet so that they stand up.
The first few photos show the excat new and empty frames plus feet that you'll get. Other photos show scale, the frame open, the feet and a few examples of items displayed in this size frame.
Watch the video to see how to use Suspension Display Frames aka 3D Floating Frames. The frame that's used in the vidoe is NOT the same size as the ones offered here.

Terms & Conditions:
1) Procedure / Communication / Payment:
If you are the winning bidder or you used the Buy It Now feature ... you may go ahead and make immediate payment as long as the listed shipping method works for you. If you don't make immediate payment I may send you an eBay's Invoice to remind you. If you wish to ask for a different shipping method you need to contact me first and, if we both agree to the new method and cost, I'll send you a new Invoice.
Payment will need to be made through PayPal within 5 days of the auction close unless you make prior arrangements with me
(example: if you would be away on vacation when the item closes and would not know whether or not you won the bid, etc. - you would need to have told me this before you left).
2) Shipping:
I will only ship to your eBay and PayPal confirmed shipping address. You, as the buyer, will pay the costs associated with shipping. If I have to purchase a box or special shipping supplies for your item I will ask you to pay for this extra cost. I usually add to the exact shipping cost to cover basic shipping supplies. Shipments made within the US may be made by UPS or USPS (smaller packages and books or media by USPS and larger packages by UPS). If shipment is made by USPS I will usually add a delivery confirmation. I do my best to ship timely, as soon as possible within a few days of receiving payment, though circumstances may warrant me taking up to 5 days to ship after receiving payment.
3) If the itme is damaged during shipping:
As part of shipping, I insure everything that sells for more than 0 (and most things that sell for less). I insure the item for the full price that it sold for. If this item is damaged during shipping you must contact me via email or phone as soon as possible (the very first day is best and not longer than 3 days from receipt) so that I can file a claim. You must save all of the packing materials and everything that was in the box and be prepared to cooperate with the claim process. This may include the shipping company inspecting the item and/or picking it up. They may, or they may not, ship it back to me. Your cooperation with the claim process is critical in getting the claim approved. If the item is damaged during shipping in most cases you'll get a full refund (that includes your shipping cost). Communication is very important. If you want to have the item fixed and get it back ... let me know. The timeliness of your refund will be based upon your cooperation with the claim process and possibly the time it may take for the claim to be approved and paid. I take photographs of the box and packing materials, just prior to shipping, for all higher priced items to document adequate packing in case a claim must be filed. In the rare case that your item is damaged during shipping I ask that you do your part to expedite the claim. If you mess up the claim process (e.g. don't cooperate with the shipping company, don't keep all the shipping materials, etc.) and the shipping company denies the claim because of that ... you may not get a refund.
4)
Guarantee: All items are Guaranteed to be as described. Use the images to best determine condition - you are buying what you see.
If you feel that the item that you receive is not as it was described then you have 5 days from the time you receive it to contact me by email to make arrangements to return it for a refund. For items shipped outside the continental US: Only a serious mistake will warrant a full refund. If the issue involves the interpretation of terms or images then I will not refund payment. If I make a mistake that involves a critical point relating to the item's value then I will refund payment but not shipping costs. If I make a major mistake then I will, of course, refund payment and all shipping costs. Failure to abide by these stated Terms and Conditions forfeits this Guarantee.
5)
Refunds:
... will be given only if the item is not as described (under the terms listed above) or if it was damaged during shipping (see #3 above). To request a refund you will have only 5 days from the time you receive your item to contact me by email. If you feel that I made a mistake in the auction ad, and you have contacted me appropriately, then you will have to ship the item back to me. When I get it I will then verify your claim (and check on my possible mistake) and then refund your payment if I did make the claimed mistake.
6)
Feedback:
As the buyer you should submit feedback first. After you receive the item and I have been made aware of your satisfaction of our business deal ... I will leave feedback for you - Positive if everything went well.
7)
Resolution Center / Non-Payment / Problems:
My account is set to start the Resolution Center process if payment has not been received by the 5th day. If you have a legitimate reason for the delay in submitting payment let me know. If you have paid, and have received your item, and if you are unhappy with the transaction contact me directly first, under the terms outlined above, to see if we can work things out.
By bidding (or buying) you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions
Thanks for looking and ... good luck bidding.
