    Description

    This is a an older (1940's I believe),  black Persian lamb shawl (shoulder wrap/stole).   It has 4" Tassels at each tip and measures 36" across
    (laying flat from tip to tip) x 7" at the deepest point.  It is in nice condition and has a satin lining and a hook closure. It is designed to be a bit stiff so it stays put. There are a few loose hairs and some purple colors from the satin underneath or sun issues but can easily be fixed with a marks-a-lot marker.  I did not do it myself because many women prefer the authentic patina. There is a little hook for the crocheted rings on the edge to keep it on your shoulders. fascinating piece with ornate needlework on the tips (see pics).
